Cilantros Mexican Cocina

Really enjoyed the food. The employees were very polite and we would recommend it again to friends and family.

Updated 10/31/23...Still one of my favorites! Enjoyed sitting out on the patio on today's visit with the doggo. Enjoyed a delicious bowl of abondigas and a carne asada bowl.... which I highly recommend! Don't forget to add Cilantro sauce, thier own special sauce that's fire! Stopped on a rainy day for some delicious menudo and they did not disappoint! Delicious and hot, served with fresh tortillas.

PHE-NO-ME-NAL I actually wish we had a bigger appetite to be able to try more menu items coz the Chipotle Burrito we ordered was ginormous! But it was oh so good though. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the place was spanking clean and the decor had that rustic farmhouse thing going which was adorable. We'll definitely be back!

Green chili pork was VERY tender. The bowl was crazy filled and crazy delicious. Loved the cold beer in the frozen mug. The place is clean and efficient! Can’t wait to come back to try the desserts

One of the best spots in Maricopa for Mexican Food! Flavor is amazing, the salsa is spicy :), and the service is fast. Burritos, bowls , plates prepared in front of your eyes.

As for Cilantros Mexican Cocina, the food was good, and the atmosphere was fine, but the service was just okay, including the menu. One would have to frequent Cilantros Mexican Cocina to both understand the menu posted up high above the order window. Their prices are not out of hand, but I feel they are a bit high for the serving size you receive. I would not have even eaten there if I'd known it was more like a fast food place than a restaurant. When we go out to eat, we go to a restaurant so we can set down and enjoy ourselves with conversation and relax. Standing in line is fine if you are waiting to be seated so you can look over a menu and take your time deciding what you want to eat, but standing in line only to be rushed when ordering, and are still not sure what you are getting because the menu to me is confusing, so you have to hope that you are getting what you think you wanted based on the person taking the order. All in all, it's not a bad place to eat. It's just not what we expected from the outside. However, if you like Mexican food, I would recommend this place over Taco Bell or Dell Taco hands down. So if you are in the area, I would suggest you eat at Cilantros Mexican Cocina at least once, depending on what you are looking for, Cilantros Mexican Cocina may become your favorite Mexican food place to eat.

Best most delicious absolutely authentic Mexican food. The caldo de res was amazing! The pork tamale was just like my Nana’s. The staff Jenni, Anna and Diana were attentive friendly and amazing! Definitely the right place that hit the spot!

Generous portions, great flavor, and a price that makes it even better. 10/10.
